Our Narragansett hotel has signed on to be a major sponsor of the Campaign to Build Hope, an effort inspired by the Destiny Africa choir and its wonderful children.
The goal is to raise the full $70,000 needed to build a medical center at the Kampala Children’s Centre in Uganda. By June 2014, we hope to have that money in hand through fundraising efforts. The cornerstone fundraising event is a sunset cocktail reception at the Newport Yachting Center on Thursday, May 15 at 6:30 pm. Purchase early-bird tickets now!
The Kampala Children’s Centre for Hope and Wellness will provide critical medical, preventive and dental care. It will have an onsite lab, offer community health education and will have surgical capabilities.
