Movies on Narragansett Beach & Food Trucks
July 19 – The Lorax
July 26th – Casablanca
Bring your beach chairs, grab dinner at the food trucks and experience a movie like you never have before – with the sand in your toes! Movies begin at dusk and food trucks are open from 6:00 – 10:00pm. North Beach Clubhouse Deck at Narragansett Town Beach.

Gazebo Concert Series
July 14 – Boot Hill Band

Grab your chair or blanket and enjoy beautiful scenic Narragansett while listening to some great music in Gazebo Park. Concerts are free, family friendly and open to the public. All concerts start at 6:00 pm

Narragansett Lions Club Blessing of the Fleet Weekend
Seafood Festival: July 27-29Attended by almost 30,000 people each year, the Seafood Festival is a major part of the Blessing of the Fleet Festival event.

10 Mile Road Race: July 28, 5:00pmMore than 3,000 runners, walkers, and wheelchair entrants compete on the scenic course that covers 10 miles. Finish line is on Kingstown Road at the Post Office.

Blessing of the Fleet: July 29 at 12:00pm at the Port of GalileeCome on down to the Breachway and cheer on the parade as the boats are blessed! On a good day, hundreds of vessels line up to parade past thousands of spectators.

Save The Bay Swim
Saturday, July 29, 2017 at 6: 15 AM
500 swimmers and 200 kayakers trek 1.7 nautical miles across the Bay to raise money to protect and restore the Narragansett Bay region.  Newport Navy Base, Newport to Potter Cove, Jamestown, RI.

Beauty and the Beast at Theater By The Sea

Wakefield River Fire + Art Walk
July 20 and 27
Enjoy great local music and the warm glow of the River Fire baskets! Shops are open later and street vendors make this a weekly event for the whole family! Enjoy food at local restuarants at this free event!  Street vendors and artists are set up by 5pm, RiverFire and live music starts at 7pm and goes until 9pm. Main Street, Wakefield, RI.

2017 South County Balloon Festival
July 21-July 23
The South County Balloon Festival is one of Rhode Island’s most popular summer events, featuring Hot Air Balloons, crafters, carnival rides, food vendors, live music, fireworks and lots of other family fun and entertainment. Gates open at 4pm and close at 10:00pm. URI Athletic Fields, Keaney Rd, Kingston, RI.

The Colonial Theater Presents William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night
